RESOLUTION - Representative Phillip Lowe

Whereas on November 2, 2010, Representative Phillip Lowe was re-elected by an overwhelming margin to serve the people of district 60 for a third term; and

Whereas since his election Representative Lowe has supported with great vigor tax reductions, governmental transparency, free enterprise, fair elections through the SC House Voter ID Bill which included an amendment which protects the rights of poll watchers, and has promoted the Republican Platform and ideals; and

Whereas Representative Phillip Lowe is a dedicated public servant with a delightful sense of humor; and

Whereas Representative Phillip Lowe has over the last two years assisted tirelessly and supported the revitalization of the Florence County Republican Party and Florence County Republican Women’s Club; and

Whereas Representative Phillip Lowe has opened his personal residence for use by the Florence County Republican Party and Florence County Republican Women’s Club for events, gatherings, Republican candidate events and fundraisers; and

Whereas Representative Lowe appropriately accesses issues facing the people of Florence County and provides amicable solutions to said issues; and

Whereas Representative Lowe provided guidance, endorsements and support to fellow Republican candidates in the 2010 general election and assisted them without question and without having to be asked; and

Whereas Representative Phillip Lowe is a champion for conservative ideals and causes.

Now, therefore, be it resolved the Florence County Republican Party offers its heartfelt appreciation to Representative Lowe for his dedication to the Florence County Republican Party, Republican Candidates and the people of Florence county and South Carolina District 60; and

Be it further resolved that the Florence County Republican Party honors Representative Lowe for his service in the South Carolina House of Representatives representing District 60; and

Be it further resolved that the Florence County Republican Party applauds Representative Lowe’s efforts to reduce the tax burdens which are heavy upon the backs of the people of South Carolina; and

Be it further resolved that the Florence County Republican Party hereby supports with great vigor Representative Lowe’s efforts to promote and ratify legislation regarding Voter ID, Rights of Poll Watchers; and

Be it further resolved that the Florence County Republican Party expresses its hope that Representative Phillip Lowe will, with our full support, continue to serve this party for many years to come.
